How Find-Contacts works
Find-Contacts is designed for you to have fun online and off. To ensure that profiles
are of a consistent quality we personally review every profile on creation and on any textural changes.
We don't permit contact details or advertising of other sites, where we find such instances we remove the text.
Our messaging system is designed to avoid unsolicted bulk mails from spammers and thus we do monitor messaging
activity in respect to volumes from individual accounts
and if we find the use to be abnormal we will suspend the account. We also have a program in place which blocks messages which have been sent
to another member who is not seeking the senders type. This is to reduce online harassment from members
emailing others who are not looking for that type. If you feel that someone is "missing out" then you can flirt
and see what happens, the recipient can always send a message to you (assuming you are seeking their type)
and from then on you can reply to that message.
I did not get my password email when I registered
If 5-10 minutes have passed after your registration and you
do not see the confirmation email in your «inbox»
folder, please check «bulk/junk»
folder. The Email with your login details should be in
there.To ensure that Find-contacts emails are not filtered and
do not get into your «junk/bulk» folder, select "Add/Save to Address Book" Option and add
Members@find-contacts.com and
NoReply@find-contacts.com to the Address book of your email programme.
If you entered an incorrect email address click here and
enter the correct one and we will resend your confirmation email to you.
How do I change my details
You can change your introduction, advert, profile details, main details and advert photo from
the 'My advert' Menu option. We do not allow your email address to be changed.
Unfortunately if you have lost your email we cannot send a password to a
different address. In these circumstances you will need to create a new
member account with a new valid email address.
My advert is not returning in searches
If your profile does not comply with our conditions then we will Disapprove your
profile, and your profile will no longer return in searches (you can
view this status in your member home page under MemberInformation (bottom left). This can be down do the following
reasons : (1) you have contact details in your profile
title, or your profile has been
deemed to be unacceptable. We review all proifles
personally, and in most instances our reviewers will amend the profile and then
approve it. One of the main reasons for profile disapproval is contact details,
remember that it is very easy to spot even subtly disguised details, which will
just be removed.
Are my details Safe
We advise you to read the privacy policy, however any details other than what is shown on your advert are secure.
We do not pass onto any third parties
without your consent personal information
or your email address. All Payment details are processed with a seperate
payment processing company who have to comply with card processing scheme
regulations. We selected our card processor very carefully, and contracted with
XPCollect who are incorperated in the United Kindom
providing solutions for many top companies and have to comply with strict UK
financial regulations and Visa & Mastercard Scheme rules. We understand
that currently they use Barclays PLC merchant services, for transmission of card
data.We Keep no card data on our servers.
How do I stop another member from sending messages to me.
To stop another member sending mesages to you, simply identify / goto thier profile and
click the block sender link below the profile picture. If you need to remove
this block, simply goto you members control panel and click on the blocked members
link then, on the member you want to unblock click "remove block".
I cannot send other members mesages or view their profiles.
You have basic membership and need to upgrade. You can select from GOLD and Silver
Membership packages, it really depends on you and what you feel comfortable with.
All our three month packages have a 33% discount over out monthly price this effectively
means that you get 1 month free.
I cannot put an email address into my advert or introduction.
We do not permit email addresses to be entered into either your introduction or advert body. Spammers trawl for mails
this way and it ends up putting substancial pressure on our servers . We will suspend
your profile/or rmove the email info, if we find instances of this. This is for your protection of
details from casual searches and enables you to control later when and who you
want to give your email address to. NOTE we do not block email addresses being
passed in message subject lines or body.
What appears on my card statement if I become a premium member.
We use a third party card processing company, and to respect your privacy all that will appear onyour card statement is a reference to our billing processor, (and the amount obviously). There is no reference to this site.
What are the differences in types of membership.

How do I change my password.
To change your password, goto the'My
Advert' menu and select 'change Password'. The system will automatically
generate a new password for you and send to your email address. We are very
concious about security and the risks of passwords being breeched that is why
we generate a password which is random and strong.
How do I remove my profile / account.
If you are no longer searching for contacts and want to remove your profile then
to do this
from your members screen (where you login to) goto Account Settings > Delete Account
and follow the instructions. Deleting you account is permanent and we do not keep any
data so it cannot be retrieved, a better
solution
may be to pause your advert which will remove you from searches etc , to pause an advert
goto (Account Settings > Pause Advert.)
How do I turn off
Automatic / Recurring Billing?
If you upgrade to a monthly/30 day plan we will automatically renew your subsription 2 days
prior to the month expiring. If you do not wish to have us do this for you, you can cancel
Automatic billing to so this goto the members Home page > account Settings > Account Transactions.
if you have automatic billing enabled a "next collection date will be shown and a Cancel Link will be
displayed, which if you click will cancel automatic billing. Alternatively if you are logged on

I am getting problems with links not working or being logged off
To use this site you need to have both Cookies and Javascript enabled in your browser,

I am unable to send mail to another member / mail not appearing in my sent folder
This site stops mail being sent from members to members who are not after thier type (e.g a man cannot send a message
to a couple if they are only seeking other couples). This stops misuse and harrasment and ensures that you only get
messages from those you are looking for.
